About the Role
Join our team, and you will experience a wide range of exposure to all business processes and levels of management. You will have opportunities for professional growth and learning by developing a comprehensive understanding of our company, the insurance industry, and our business processes.
As an Operations Business Analyst, you will provide administrative, analytical and technical support to other departments. You will work with all departments to write requirements for new corporate systems and software applications, as well as enhancements to existing corporate systems. In addition, you will analyze, develop and execute testing based on those requirements. This includes, but is not limited to, development of screens, understanding of database tables, reviewing requirements, and understanding interfaces between new and existing systems.

Preference given to applicants with extended education and/or training
Required Skills and Abilities
Possess strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-functional role.
Must be able to work independently, as well as collaborate with others in various departments throughout the company.
Ability to organize and prioritize your workload to demonstrate effective time management towards meeting deadlines.
Capacity to absorb extensive on-the-job training.
Familiarity with NCFB systems and workflows is an advantage but not required.
Location and Commitments
Full-time role based at our Corporate Office in Raleigh, NC 27612
40 hours per week
Responsibilities of the Role
Write requirements documents for new systems and enhancements to current systems.
Follow a requirements document to plan, write, and execute thorough test plans and test cases.
Learn Azure DevOps to manage, test and track projects.
Communicate with team members or developers as necessary to determine causes of poor functionality.
Perform system, functionality, and regression testing.
Provide support to business users by analyzing, proposing solutions, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues.
Report project status to Lead Tester or Project Manager.
Basic understanding of or willingness to learn SQL databases.
